       Fannie's Barn - the ultimate writer's retreat

Shhhh. This is the best kept secret in the Ozarks.

.

How do you find paradise? Drive past the lower lake until you come to a lighted bridge. At the end of a private lane, in a clearing in the wild pine forest, Fannie's Barn waits for you like a Kinkade painting. You'll marvel at the gleaming hardwood floors and soaring beamed ceilings. The massive stone fireplace adds warmth and rustic charm. You'll feel like royalty in the loft bedroom with its own private sitting area, antique armoire, Tiffany lamps, and sumptuous king size bed with lavish designer linens. Step out onto your 2nd story porch and watch deer grazing in the meadow. At night, the stars are amazing. You'll truly forget there's anyone else in the world. But the best is yet to come - your own huge, private indoor Jacuzzi! This is pure luxury at its finest. Be prepared to fall in love . . . .

Hearts & Roses Cabin

Cozy cabin charm meets Victorian elegance at Hearts and Roses.

.

Make every day a honeymoon in this delightful cabin on a wooded hillside. A large front porch welcomes you to come inside, or sit a spell in the porch swing and enjoy the peace and quiet. You'll catch a scent of potpourri as you walk through the doorway and admire the charming antique furnishings, stained glass, oak floors and soaring beamed ceiling. Have an intimate dinner beside the fireplace (in season). Soak your cares away in the 4' by 6' indoor Jacuzzi, with separate shower. Snuggle in the king size brass and iron bed. Romance blooms at Hearts and Roses Cabin. Everything you need is here . . . enjoy!

The Elk Lodge

In the mood for a rustic taste of romance?

.

Sitting on a secluded hillside at the end of its own private lane, you'll find the Elk Lodge Cabin, one of Cinnamon Valley's most private retreats. Men will appreciate the rustic southwestern decor, massive beamed ceiling, walnut floors and the private outdoor hot tub in a gazebo. Ladies, not to worry, you'll feel absolutely spoiled in the 4' by 6' indoor whirlpool tub, with separate shower. You'll delight in the covered porches, complete with a glider and a treehouse view. Climb the stairs to the loft bedroom, but be prepared . . . you may never want to leave. Lose yourself in the comfort of the massive 700 pound bed from Idaho. Hang your clothes in the antique armoire, watch for deer from the private upstairs porch. You'll think you've awakened in a romance novel. He'll swear he's in a rustic hunting lodge. At Elk Lodge, you get the best of both worlds.

Treehouse Bungalow

Escape to the woods!

Treehouse Cottages has opened an additional thirty-three acre woodland about a mile from their original location. The Bungalow is the first of three treehouses to be built in this hidden pine forest. 0wner and builder, Terry Miller, loved treehouses when he was a boy. His love of wood and natural elements definitely shows in the handcrafted details he brings to this charming cabin in the trees.

Look for the new Towering Pines Treehouse and Whispering Wood Treehouse opening soon in the hidden forest.  These cozy cabins will have sunset views.
